Terms of Use — Nusan

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Nusan ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The service

Nusan provides voice, conversation, and camera translation across supported Southeast Asian languages. Translation is performed by machine and provided "as is." It may not always be accurate or appropriate for high-stakes situations (legal, medical, safety). Always use your own judgment for critical communication.

3. Acceptable use

Use the app only for lawful purposes.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or circumvent usage limits or security of the service.
Do not use the app to process content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.

4. Free and Pro plans

The free plan includes daily usage limits. Pro is a subscription that unlocks unlimited translations and additional features. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store, and are subject to Apple's terms. Prices vary by region.

5. Subscriptions, trials & renewals

A Pro subscription may start with a free trial. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, it renews automatically and your Apple account is charged. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the text and translations you create. We do not claim ownership of your content. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled — notably, audio and camera images are never stored.

7. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and the "Nusan" name and logo are owned by us and protected by law. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that translations are accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it is fit for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including any loss arising from reliance on a translation.

10. Changes & termination

We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
